The 5G is known to be the fifth generation of mobile networks. It is generally followed by the previous generations of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G. The difference between 5G and other networks is that it offers much faster connection speeds than any of the previous networks. In addition, it is much more reliable and has a slower response time and a much greater capacity.

It is explained as a wireless network that uses radio frequencies to carry information through the air. 5G operations in the same way but it carries information in a faster way. They use higher bands that use millimeter waves. While it carries information at a faster rate, there are some problems with sending information over large distances. Physical objects such as trees or buildings easily block it.

The 5G technology is going to slice the physical network into multiple virtual networks. This usually means that the operator will be able to slice the right network, depending on how it is being used and also with the better management of the networks. An operator will be able to use slice capacities according to their importance.

5G technology and its impact on the education sector

During covid 19, 5G technology can be used in remote learning. COVID-19 resulted in a lockdown and 5G can be used in the education sector. It has changed the outlook of the classroom and teaching. 5G can provide the users with a fast internet connectivity speed. This will make learning more accessible and engaging.

In addition, it has evolved the concept of live streaming, and watching online lectures has become much easier. One can easily download a video in seconds. In addition, online classes become more convenient and hassle-free for the students and teachers. It has also helped to increase the grip of students on their education. With the help of high-speed internet, the students can learn and access educational resources in comfort and according to their location.

Additionally, the special needs students can learn in a better way without any difficulties. They need more assistance than their peers do. With the help of 5G technology, the robot apps can be implemented in the classroom. These apps will be responsive, help the students with special needs, and give a decent learning experience.

Use of high-speed internet in hospitals

5G is bringing advancements in the healthcare sector. It is used in any device that includes hospital equipment. The hospitals can use 5G technology to exchange data with the cloud. The ultra-quick speed helps with exchanging data with the cloud. This speed helps and allows technology to embrace new capabilities. It also creates digital health solutions that are embedded with the 5G technology. It has provided advancements in IoT deployments, telehealth, consultations, and also the operations of robots and robotic systems. In addition, 5G technology has significant security enhancement and it is more capable of protecting your identity.

The 5G healthcare will help and provide a better building of an infrastructure that will help with the interplay of health sensors, algorithms, and smart devices. In addition, it helps with the smooth operations of telemedicine. Additionally, it provides the parents with a way to interact with the babies in the incubators. It provides a transformative technology background healthcare that is needed these days.

This technology provides low latency and low power cost in healthcare. It will open a new gate towards new inventions and the implementation of ideas that have been in the consciousness of the public. This will increase access to healthcare and also the quality of care.

Is 5G technology putting airplanes at risk?

This technology has put airplane technology at risk. The wireless signals for 5G technology have raised concerns as the wireless signals are carried out by the radio waves.

Modern airplanes use altimeters that calculates the time it takes for any signal to bounce back from the ground to determine the altitude of the plane. These altimeters are very important for the automatic landing system. This is very useful in cases where there is very low visibility.

If the altimeter is interrupted by the signal from a wireless carrier this shows that the ground is closer. When in fact the ground is not closer, it prematurely tries to lower the landing gear, and do other acts that are needed to land the aircraft. The portions of the radio frequency and the spectrum used by the airplanes and the cellphones carriers are different. However, the problem is that airplanes use 4.2 to 4.4 gigahertz range while the C band spectrum uses 3.7 to 3.98 gigahertz. This small difference in gigahertz is not quite enough to make sure that cell phone carrier signal will not be mistaken as an altimeter’s signal.  The telecommunication industry has argued that a 0.22 difference is enough and this will not interfere with the airline industry.

5G and blockchain

5G is the enabler of all technology and it maximizes their impact. This technology will aid in device communication in real-time, and it is embedded with connected intelligence. Blockchain technology has the power to solve the pressing problems of the world. This is a decentralized ledger that provides the users with a faster and safer way to verify key information and in establishing trust. This is changing the way we buy and sell. It is helping with interacting with others and verifying the voting, to property records, and this is the operating system for the future. Additionally, it is also removing intermediaries and streamlining data management processes. It is transforming businesses. This technology makes the supply chain trustable and trackable.
